“O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant, the son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your decree over me is certain, and Your judgment is just. I ask You by every Name that is Yours, which You have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught to any of Your creation, or kept (exclusively) in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my sight, the remover of my sorrow, and the departure of my anxiety.”
(This supplication is recommended for sadness and grief.)
